The Business Gifts Alphabet

Whilst sourcing products, it seems sometimes appropriate to pause and take stock of the business you are involved with and how it has changed over the years. Nearly every letter of the alphabet has “old standards” as well as new stars.
Begin at the beginning with ”A”. You immediately see the Old Guard - Promotional Atlases, Alarm Clocks, Air Fresheners and Aprons – these days accompanied by Anti-Bacterial Hand-wash, Aromatherapy- Related Products and Audio Accessories. Under “B” you still find Promotional Bags of all varieties, Badges, Bottle Openers and Business Card Cases with Bottled Water, Bathroom Accessories, Bicycles and Biscuits as their neighbours.
Promotional Clocks, Calculators, Calendars and Caps are now listed alongside Computer Products of all types, Cosmetics, Chocolate, Colour Change Products and Cakes.
Different in the “D’s” are DVD’s, Door Mats and Drinks – the “Isotonic” variety - whilst Promotional Diaries, Desk Accessories and Document Cases still abound. Extending the list of “E’s” are Electrical Goods, Eye Washes and Emergency Keys whilst good old Executive Desk Accessories, Erasers and Exhibition Hand-Outs sail gracefully on. Furthering the cause of the “F’s”, are Fireworks, Filofaxes, and Folding Chairs now marching alongside Promotional Fridge Magnets, Frisbees and First Aid Kits.
Promotional Golf Products are now paired with Glow in the Dark Items and Highlighters with Horticultural Products. And so it goes on. Dipping in here and there we find Letter Openers with Lip Balm, Mugs with MP3 Players, Promotional Rulers with Recycled Products and Swiss Army Knives with Sudoku Puzzles. “Z” appears to be the only letter that bucks the trend – not much happening there. |
